About the Poetry Series

I started reading poetry in high school and college and that's when I started "fooling" around with it. In college I stopped reading it altogether because I felt most of it was too long and I wasn't interested in the formal study of it. But I was always trying to find ways of expressing something important to me and I wanted to take that thought or feeling and say it in one sentence or at least keep the poem as short as possible. So, my current challenge is to find a way to integrate the language of ideas with my visual ideas.
